ABOUT ANDREA
MEET ANDREA FISCHER
Since childhood, Andrea has been drawn to creating sanctuaries – spaces of comfort, calm, and beauty. From a young age, Andrea watched her mother effortlessly transform empty spaces into warm, comforting, and functional spaces, regardless of their circumstances.
Hidden toy nooks, plush cushions, shelves of books, the soft glow of warm lighting, and all colours and textures – everything had a place and this unknowingly gave her home a sense of interest.
It was in these thoughtfully curated spaces that her passion for creating intentional interior design first ignited. Today, that same passion is at the heart of every design the team sparks to life. Fischer by Design’s process carefully blends the logic of planning, costing, and project management, with the artistry of design, storytelling, visualisation, beauty, and emotion – balancing the flow, functionality, and aesthetic to create interiors that work as excellently as they look.
From quick-turnaround apartments in Cape Town to inspired workspaces, luxury hotels, and fine-dining restaurants – the team designs purposeful, visually striking spaces, delivering projects that elevate clients’ well-being, productivity, and overall brand identity.

Andrea’s passion lies in creating purposeful, yet aesthetically refined environments and experiences in every space. Inspired by her love for storytelling and visual impact, Andrea brings emotion, beauty, and mood to every corner, all the while keeping every design functional, practical, and client-focused.
Together, each object positioned and every colour, light, texture, and layout executed, tells a story – influencing people’s emotions, productivity, and overall well-being. Andrea’s interior design style is deeply rooted in environmental psychology, that is understanding how physical spaces significantly influence people’s feelings, thinking, and behaviour.
When it comes to all things – fabric colours, textured cushions, lush bedroom pillows, spatial layouts, or seating arrangements – Andrea makes spaces function and feel to benefit clients’ lifestyles, and thoughtfully carry out their brand or character throughout the building.

With over 16 years of experience across diverse industries, Irma is our visionary Graphic designer who turns ideas into impactful visuals that drive business success. Irma is open-minded and detail-driven, always learning and adapting to every project.
